As you can see in the diagram shown here, there are a lot of variables in properly setting up a bicycle. No two riders are built the same, so no two bicycles get adjusted quite the same way.

No matter what type of bicycle you have. No matter what kind of riding you do, your bicycle will not allow you to perform comfortably and at your best unless it is fitted to you just right.

Because there are so many variables, it is impossible to properly fit a bicycle in only a few minutes. At Smart Cycling Bike Shop we take as much time as it takes to get your bicycle correctly fit to you. How you ride, where you ride and how often you ride are just a few of the details that must be addressed in order to get your bike fit just right. Bike fits generally take between 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

If you have a great bike, but are just not feeling as comfortable or efficient as you would like call and make an appointment today. Sometimes it just takes a few small changes to improve the position.

Basic Bike Shoe Fit                                                                                                                        $50.00
If you are replacing your shoes or pedals, things may be very different. Shoes, cleats and pedals are adjusted to give maximum performance and comfort. Adjustments included any necessary inserts, wedges or spacers. The athlete is given a written record of their shoe set up.

Basic Road Bike Fit                                                                                                                        $200.00
A CompuTrainer SpinScan review of pedaling dynamics is followed by a complete adjustment of cleat position, saddle position and handlebar position. The athlete is given a written record of their bike dimensions.

Basic Time Trial Bik Fit                                                                                             $250.00

Competition Road Bike Fit                                                                                        $250.00
