Regardless of the brand of bicycles available in a given shop, the personal service provided by the shop staff is the main reason customers choose a bike shop over a sports or department store. At Smart Cycling Bike Shop, Inc. we will properly fit you to your new bike, as well as adjust the brake and shifter cables and keep the wheels true for FREE for as long as you own the bicycle!

We pride ourselves on having not only a friendly staff, but a highly educated and qualified staff. Our employees include 3 USA Cycling licensed coaches, a licensed mechanic, a licensed race official and our mechanical personnel are competitive cyclists. This base of experience and knowledge allows our staff to provide service and assistance that is a cut above the average bike shop.

Having a problem with a bicycle is the number one reason customers go to a bike shop. Sports and department stores generally don’t have the ability to service the bicycles they sell. Regardless of the caliber of the rider, all cyclists have one thing in common - they want their bicycles fixed quickly and correctly. At Smart Cycling Bike Shop we understand this need and basic repairs such as flat tires or simple adjustments are done while the customer waits. Extended or more involved service, such as bicycle tune ups are usually completed within 24 hours.

Install new clincher type tire (tire not included), still just $10.00

Install new tubular type tire (tire not included), still just $40.00

Replace standard steel spokes (first spoke included, additional spokes $3.00 each) $20.00

Replace non-standard spokes (spokes not included) $25.00

True standard or radial spoke pattern front wheel $20.00

True standard spoke pattern rear wheel $25.00

Mechanical brake adjustments $15.00

Bicycle Tune-Ups come in two varieties - Single Speed and Multi-Speed and are generally done in 24 hours.

Single speed Tunes Ups include a thorough visual inspection, washing and waxing the bike, truing the wheels,

adjusting hand brakes, lubricating the drive train, properly inflating the tires and tightening all nuts and bolts.

Single Speed Tune-Ups are just $40.00

Multi-Speed Tune-Ups include a thorough visual inspection, washing and waxing the bike, truing the wheels,

adjusting hand brakes, shifters, derailleurs, lubricating the drive train, properly inflating the tires and tightening

all nuts and bolts.

Multi-Speed Tune-Ups are just $85.00

Bicycle Overhauls come in three basic varieties - Single Speed, Multi-Speed and Mountain Bikes with Hydraulic Brakes

Bicycle Overhauls include a thorough visual inspection, washing and waxing the bike, truing the wheels, replacing the

brake cables and housings, shifter cables and housings, adjusting hand brakes, shifters, derailleurs, lubricating the

drive train, repacking all non-cartridge bearings, properly inflating the tires and tightening all nuts and bolts. Prices vary

according to the bearings, brakes and wheels on the bike and run between $135.00 and $185.00.
